About Us

Smith Harvesting was established in 1981 with 1 combine and truck. After 35 years, Smith Harvesting now runs 5 combines, 1 tractor grain cart, 2 service trucks, and 10 trucks. Our season starts in Mid May to Late May and runs til around November. We are family owned and operated, however we do hire some workers to help us out during our season. Our Harvest Stops

We provide our customers with a professional harvesting service throughout the Great Plains covering (but not limited to) Texas, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota for winter wheat. When fall harvest comes around we come back to our home in Jewell, Kansas.

Our equipement includes: 1 Sterling, 3 peterbuilts, 2 kenworth semis, 2 kenworth straight trucks, 1 ford straight truck, 1 international straight truck, 2 big service trucks, 2 small service trucks, 3 8120 combines, 1 8230 tracked combine, 1 2388 combine, 4 Mac Don flex headers, 1 straight header, 1 Case IH tractor, 1 Kenzie grain cart, 2 campers. Our employees sleep in a crew camper.
